GA DOE is accepting public feedback on the draft ESSA state plan. Go to http://www.gadoe.org/Pages/Home.aspx to read the plan and take the survey.

Also a number of organizations with an interest in the special education part of this legislation will be presenting at the Alpharetta Library on Tuesday the 27th at 11:00 AM. Go here to register for this free event.

  1. Thanks Kim for posting this! This is a very important event for parents to learn about the Every Student Succeeds Act “ESSA” and how they can provide input before the deadline in July. Parents need to know this is a draft and they have input until July 14, after that it becomes law.
