Education Reform Commission Meeting, Thursday, 11/19

Steven Quinn, of StudentsFirst, is currently looking for a few parents to join him at the last Education Reform Commission meeting on November 19th. As you may have seen, the committee working on funding reform has begun to release recommendations the past few weeks. Below is the link to an article that explains some big wins and new funding recommendations. One of the biggest is that state charter schools will see increase of funding (at or above the state avg. per pupil spending) and as well more funding for students that have special needs. There is also major recommendations on the school choice efforts and teacher quality recommendations.  He is asking parents to join him and to thank the commission for putting our students first.
