The Georgia Advocacy Office need your voice and story if you live in Georgia! Has your child attended, is currently attending, or been recommended to attend a GNETS school or other alternative placement as a result of school’s claims related to their behavior? Has your student with disabilities struggled to receive supports for challenging behavior at school? Have you selected to homeschool, send your child to private school or cyber academy because your child was recommended for transfer away from their local school? They are seeking to collect stories from families like yours. Please call the Georgia Advocacy Office at (404) 885-1234 and ask to speak with Devon Orland or Leslie Lipson. If it is easier for you, please email info@thegao.org with your contact information and they will be in touch.
